Brown lets fists do talking

WEC is LIVE on VERSUS Nov. 18!

No surprises for ex-champ Campas

Live on PPV Oct. 30 from El Paso!

For a fighter who has won over eight championships in his career, including two world titles, Luis “Yuri Boy” Campas is surprisingly soft spoken. But perhaps that is not much of a surprise, when a fighter has amassed over 92 wins in over 107 fights it goes without saying that he’s “seen it all before.” But for the 38-year old contender, he also recognizes that October 30th will be his most important fight since he stepped in the ring to challenge Oscar De La Hoya for the WBC and WBA Light Middleweight title’s back in 2003. After all, a win might make another title fight a reality where as a loss would all be end his run as a force in the junior middleweight division . . . . Click here for more

Cordova aims for top ten!

Live on PPV Oct. 30 from El Paso!

World ranked welterweight prospect Marvin Cordova Jr. has certainly made some waves since turning pro back in August of 2004 when he stopped undefeated Luciano Silva in four rounds. Following that impressive debut, he continued to impress with a trio of victories against lesser known opponents. Cordova then fought on the undercard of an ESPN televised show in Denver Colorado, stopping the normally durable club fighter Marlon Leslie in the second round the following August to improve his record to 5-0. It was enough to cause promoters and boxing insiders to take note, and by the end of the year he began working with promoter Zeferino Ramirez, who has kept the young prospect active and helped him garner several regional championships over the next several years. That December, Cordova won the GBU Youth light welterweight champion when he destroyed journeyman Corey Alarcon in the opening round . . . . Click here for more

‘This is MY time’ says Camacho Jr.

Live on PPV Oct. 30 from El Paso!

DSC_6365“This is my time – Junior time!” is the latest from the fight camp of Hector Camacho, Jr., who is matched up against Ramon Luis “Yory Boy” Campas on PPV from El Paso, Texas, Oct. 30. “I demanded this fight with Campas.  This is personal: he offended my father and my family. I know there are members of the media saying why Campas, but they need to remember that Campas is a really tough fighter who has fought the very best and held his own. Just because he is somewhat older does not mean he’s finished. Is Hopkins young? Is De La Hoya young?”

Camacho promises Campas a punishing result on Oct. 30:  “I’m not just beating him I’m knocking him out!  He’s definitely not on my level and I’ll show the world October 30.”
