Sources close to situation say promoter Gary Shaw has made a verbal offer to Jose Nunez manager of two-division world champion Joan Guzman (29-0, 17 KOs) to fight WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (24-0, 11 KOs) on Saturday August 1st. Nunez has accepted the offer on behalf of Guzman. SHOWTIME Championship Boxing is the likely to broadcast the event. No venue for the fight has been named as of yet.
