Former WBC super lightweight champion Junior Witter (37-2-2, 22 KOs) stated today that he will take on WBC # 1 contender Devon Alexander (18-0, 11 KOs) August 1st. Witter didn’t specify a location but stated that the fight would take place in the U.S. and that Don King who is Alexander’s promoter would promote the fight.
