2-for-1 tickets for “Heroes!”

The Agua Caliente Casino, Resort, Spa in Rancho Mirage, California is offering 2-for-1 tickets to all members of law enforcement, fire & rescue departments, military, families of deployed military and first responders to the Saturday, April 10th special edition of the ESPN Championship Boxing. In the main event, undefeated welterweight contender Orlando Lora (26-0-1, 18 KOs) rumbles with gritty veteran David Estrada (22-6, 14 KOs) for the vacant WBC FECOMBOX welterweight title.  A member of Mexico’s 2000 Olympic team, Lora is trained by highly regarded Abel Sanchez in Big Bear.  Estrada is one tough veteran, having gone ten or more rounds with Shane Mosley, Kermit Cintron, Shane Mosley, Andre Berto and Luis Abregu.  The co-main event features undefeated top-ten junior featherweight contender and NABO champion Victor Fonseca (17-0, 9 KOs) against heavy-handed veteran Andre Wilson (11-3-1, 9 KOs).  

Several more bouts will be showcased.  Doors open at 3:30 p.m. and the first bout is at 4.  This special edition of ESPN Championship Boxing will be hosted at The Show, the premier concert theatre in Southern California.  The 2-for-1 “Hero” seats are located on the mezzanine level and are $35 a pair. “Hero” tickets are available at The Show box office, at the Paradise Rewards Club at Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, and the sister property Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs.
