Verdejo blows away Zavala in 74 seconds

Unbeaten lightweight Felix “Diamante” Verdejo (12-0, 9 KOs) needed just 74 seconds to demolish Ivan “El Oso” Zavala (6-6-1, 2 KOs). The fight was the co-feature on Saturday night’s big UniMas card at the Bahia Shrine Temple, Orlando, Florida.

Unbeaten 2004 Olympian middleweight Matt Korobov (23-0, 14 KOs) stayed unbeaten when Emill Gonzalez (11-8-1, 8 KOs) quit at the end of round six.

Unbeaten super featherweight Alberto Machado (7-0, 5 KOs) scored a second round TKO over Jesus Lule (6-9, 1 KO). Time was 1:12.

Unbeaten welterweight Antonio Diaz (6-0, 3 KOs) knocked out Ramon Pena (7-6, 5 KOs) in the third round.

Super featherweight Christopher “Pitufo” Diaz (5-0, 3 KOs) stopped Lamar Charlton (1-5-2, 1 KO) at 2:39 in the second round.

Featherweight Jayron Santiago (2-0, 1 KO) needed just 1:41 to stop James Alexander (0-3).
