The Thai fighter dominated in every round except round one, wildly attacking the Filipino with his right hooks punctuated by his tough body-shots. Chonlatarn, the Thai prospect at 126lbs, defended his WBC regional crown for the 21st time. In other action, Sainumdoi Pitaklo-ngen (4-1) captured the vacant WBC Asia Female 126lb title as she won a unanimous over Sudsakorn Kwanjaisrikod of Lao in a ten-round exciting bout. Sudsakorn, the first Laotian fighter who competed at the international boxing championship bout, looked better in the first five rounds as she aggressively assaulted Sainumdoi and almost dropped the Thai fighter in round five with her vicious body attacks. But from round six, Sainumdoi recovered to gain the score, keeping distance and displaying her counter-punches which effectively resisted the Laotian aggression until the final round. All scorecards were read 96-94 for Sainumdoi but your correspondent saw 95-95 and hope to see the rematch again. Also, Pungluang Sor Singyu outpointed Petchnamchai Jittigym in a six round non-title bout. This event was promoted by Onesongchai Boxing Promotion.

Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.
