Two-time WBA title challenger Prawet Singwancha (44-3-2, 26 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over JBC #7 Kosuke Iwashita (13-11-2, 7 KOs) to retain his WBC international 140lb title on Friday at Pattavikorn Market in Bangkok, Thailand. Although it seemed not an easy job for WBC #4 ranked Prawet as Japanese Iwashita displayed his fighting spirit during a twelve-round “heat battle,” the experienced Thai fighter still controlled the show and he completely dominated in every round with his more accurate punches, especially with his vicious bodyshots. All scorecards were 120-108 for the local fighter.

In other action, WBO #1 122-pounder and two-time WBO title challenger Sod Looknongyangtoy (53-2-1, 21 KOs) won all six rounds in a 60-54 unanimous decision over Indonesian Hendry Barongsay (reportedly 11-15-3).

WBA #2 minimim Pigmy Muangchaiyaphum (44-6-2,19 KOs) stopped Rino Ukru (reportedly 13-11) at 1:00 of round three.

Also, WBC#23 and ABCO continental 115lb title holder Petchbangborn Sor Tanapinyo (13-5-1,5 KOs) outpointed Benja Loemoli (11-3,7 KOs) of Indonesia in a six round non-title bout.

This event was promoted by Kokiet Group Promotion.
