WBC#5/WBO#8 superbantam Sod Kokietgym (60-2-1, 28 KOs) successfully retained his ABCO 122lb title when he stopped ABCO #6 Elmer Francisco (16-16-2, 4 KOs) on Monday at Bungnongkhai in Nongkhai Province, Thailand. The local news reported that both fighters excitingly exchanged punches during a close-affair first two rounds. But in round three, the champion impressively grabbed a victory when he landed a well-timed left hook to Filipino’s jaw, scoring a one-punch KO at 1:29.
