A Guerrero returns June 17

Professional boxing returns to Harrington Raceway and Casino in Harrington, Maryland on Friday night June 17th. Headlining the card promoted by A & D Promotions is undefeated Salisbury, Maryland cruiserweight Alex Guerrero (6-0-1, 3KO’s). Guerrero, the older brother of #2 WBO and #3 WBC ranked middleweight contender Fernando Guerrero. He will face Randy “The Rattler” Campbell (3-5, 2KO’s) in the four round main event of the event.

In a special “Double Trouble” extravaganza, Alex’s brother Fernando Guerrero (21-0, 16KO’s) will fight former contender series star Grady Brewer (27-12, 15KO’s) for the vacant NABF junior middleweight title in Austin, Texas. Harrington Raceway and Casino will simulcast the title contest at the post fight party directly following the show. Tickets to the fight are required for entry.

he co-main of the evening will feature undefeated Cleveland, Ohio junior middleweight prospect Michael Moore against an opponent to be announced shortly. With five knockouts in his previous eight fights, Moore is sure to put on an explosive show. In his last bout, he needed just a minute and nine seconds to dispose of thirty-one fight veteran Chris Grays.

The undercard is loaded with some of the top local and regional talent matched tough.

Undefeated welterweight prospect “Stone Cold” Stevie Weimer (7-0, 2KO’s) of York, PA is set for action against an opponent to be determined. Weimer showed off his abilities as he captured a hard fought six round unanimous decision victory over Gabriel Morris on March 19th in this very same arena.

Exciting Felton, Delaware welterweight scrapper, Mike “Strictly Business” Denby (3-9-3, 2KO’s) is set to swap punches with Newark, New Jersey’s, Tolan “The Technician” Tascoe (1-5, 1KO).

Salisbury, Maryland cruiserweight Tahir Thomas (1-0, 1KO) tangles with Terence Anderson (2-4, 1KO) of San Antonio, Texas.

Two local KOK Boxing Club prospects from Dover, Delaware are set to make their debuts on the card. Super middleweight John “Church Boy” Bowman will face Vince Burkhalter (0-4) of Philadelphia, PA and Hard hitting cruiserweight Lamont Singletary will tangle with David Burns (0-1) of Cleveland, Ohio in separate four round contests.

Rounding out the show will be a four round contest featuring Cambridge, Maryland welterweight Dontre King (4-9-2, 2KO’s) against an opponent to be announced.
