Heavyweight and knockout artist Magomed ‘Mago’ Abdusalamov (12-0, 12 KOs) of Russia, but now residing in Oxnard, California, and under the tutelage of former junior welterweight champion Pablo Sarmiento at Sarmiento’s Boxing Gym, will return to action this Friday February 3rd at the Texas Station Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada in an 8-round televised fight on ESPN2’s ‘Friday Night Fights’ against Pedro Rodriguez (8-0, 6 KOs) of Cuba.
In his last outing, the southpaw Abdusalamov stopped Rich ‘Super’ Power (15-2, 11 KOs) in the third round this past November at Texas Station Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the main event, Edison ‘Pantera’ Miranda (35-6, 30 KOs) will step back into the ring to take on South African light heavyweight contender Isaac Chilemba (18-1-1, 9 KOs) in a 10-round bout.
