Florida-based online marketing powerhouse, Acquinity Interactive made its biggest signing to date inking former three-division world champion Joan Guzman (31-0-1, 18 KOs). The signing took place moments ago in South Florida. Company partner Henry Rivalta feels they have made a major step toward making big things happen in boxing. ” I along with my partners Gary Jonas and Shannon Briggs are looking forward to bringing Guzman back to stardom in style giving him the absolute best opportunities possible. We just hope the big names at 140 will give him the opportunity to fight them. If given the chance he beats them all. I’m even bold enough to say that if Manny Pacquiao gave Guzman the chance, which we would take in a hearbeat, he’d beat him too.” said Rivalta. A March date is being targeted for Guzman’s return where he would be featured on an Acquinity promoted show.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
