Its been nearly a month since WBO interim cruiserweight champion Ola Afolabi (14-1-3, 6 KOs) pulled off his huge upset in England against heavily favored local Enzo Maccarinelli by ninth round TKO to win the vacant title. Though Afolabi resides near Los Angeles, California, he sadly hasn’t been home since his title victory to celebrate with friends and fans who are awaiting him. Apparently Afolabi hasn’t even left the country where he won his title. Word also has it due to some issues that have to be attended to regarding his visa, Afolabi is still in England where fortunately he has family he’s staying with until these visa matters are taken care of.
