“It’s more than 10 years since my last fight for world heavyweight championship. I waited long enough for my chance and want to be a champ NOW,” said Fres Oquendo from his Chicago training camp in a Fightnews.com interview. “I know that Chagaev is a good fighter, that he also wants this WBA belt, but I want it more. I will prove that in Grozny!” The previously postponed fight for WBA regular belt between Fres Oquendo (37-7, 24 KOs) and former champ Ruslan Chagaev (32-2, 20 KOs) will happen in Grozny, Chechnya on July 6.
