Airtight Boxing and American Dream card in Colorado

Steve Mestas and Airtight Boxing in association with Ron Johnson and American Dream Promotions bring pro boxing back to Colorado on December 6th in Lakewood. The main event will feature Ron ‘American Dream’ Johnson, 11-1, 3KOs will look to restart his career after a four year hiatus from the sport. His opponent will be Rodney Moore, 17-8-2, 7KOs in a cruiserweight bout.

Armando Rodriguez, 1-1, 0KO, takes on Ray Nichol, 3-2, 2KOs in the co main event. Rodriguez is coming off a win and is trained by former world title challenger Donald Camarena at his TLC gym. Nichol has lost his last two in a row. The undercard is shaping up also with a heavyweight clash between undefeated fighters in Reyes Diaz, 2-0, 2KOs taking on Nebraska’s Chris Saucedo, 1-0, 1KO. Diaz is also trained by the aforementioned Camarena who is quietly building a great stable of fighters. Rounding out the card will be a female bout with Kirstie Simmons battling Alma Garcia, Manuel Quezada fights Istafa Jihad and one time contender ‘Awesome’ Aaron Williams is still seeking a matchup.

The fights will take place at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel Ballroom, located at 360 Union BL Lakewood, CO 80228. Weigh ins will be held at Harts Corner on the fifth.
