Prince Badi Ajamu (26-3-1, 15 KO) who is best known for his twelve round decision loss to Roy Jones Jr. nearly three years ago returns to the ring July 31st at the Resorts Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Ajamu a native of nearby Camden, New Jersey will take on Dallas Vargas (22-4, 16 KOs) of Toledo, Ohio in a 12 round light heavyweight main event for the NBA title. Ajamu retired nearly a year ago frustrated of not being able to get fights. In the co-feature heavyweight Timur Ibragimov will be featured against an opponent to be announced. The event will be promoted by DEELEE & GNP Boxing. This event will be held in the Superstar Theater, located on the Dining Level at the Resorts Casino Hotel. Doors open at 7:30 pm, with the first bout scheduled for 8:30 pm.
