Aldo defends title, beats Faber

WEC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo defended his title tonight at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, Calif., with a unanimous decision victory over former champ Urijah Faber. Scores were 50-45 and 49-45 twice.
In the co-main event, WEC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson retained his belt with a submission win over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Cerrone fell prey to a guillotine choke at 1:57 of round one.
In other results: Manny Gamburyan defeated former champ Mike Brown by knockout, at 2:22 of round one; Shane Roller won by a rear naked choke hold over Anthony Njokuani at 3:07 of round one; and Scott Jorgensen unanimously decisioned Antonio Banuelos with scores of 39-38 x 3.
