In the main event, 19-year-old and unbeaten prospect Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will face Marat “Huziev” Khuzeev in a bout schedule for 12 Rounds with the vacant WBC world youth welterweight at stake. “Canelo” of Guadalajara, Mexico is currently ranked #4 WBC, #5 WBO, #6 WBA, has held the WBO Latin, NABF and WBA FEDECENTRO belts and has record of (27-0-1, 20 KOs). On the other hand Khuzeev of Miass, Russia, had over 300 amateur fights, held 3 regional titles and brings a record of (18-4-1, 7 KOs).
Also on the card WBC international super flyweight champion Irma “Guerita” Sanchez defends her belt against Lucia “Traviesa” Avalos and WBC continental Americas super flyweight champion Juan Jose “Goofy” Montes will defend against Francisco “Panchito” Reyes.
