Alvarez vs Hatton confirmed

Promoter Oscar de la Hoya and top welterweight contender Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will host a press conference on Friday in Los Angeles to announce the Mexican phenom’s March 5 bout against European champion Matthew Hatton at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Hatton is the younger brother of former world champion Ricky Hatton. HBO will televise.
