Ambunda wins WBO bantamweight title

Undefeated bantamweight Paulus “The Rock” Ambunda (20-0, 10 KOs) dethroned reigning WBO 118lb champion Pungluang Sor Singyu (43-2, 28 KOs) via unanimous decision early Sunday morning in Windhoek, Namibia. Scores were 116-112, 116-112, 115-113 for Ambunda, who became Namibia’s third boxer to win a world title, joining former champions Harry Simon and Paulus Moses.
