Ammann outpoints McCracken

Australian Cruiserweight champion Daniel Ammann (24-5-1, 5 KOs) outpointed Anthony McCracken (14-6-1) over ten rounds to retain the title on Friday at the Panthers club at Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Referee Brad Griffiths crowned Ammann by scores Ted McDonell 98-92, Steve Hughes 98-92, Damien Casey 97-95. This was the second time Ammann outscored McCracken. Back in 2007 Ammann defeated McCracken. Ammann has lost to world rated Shane Cameron and Alexander Alekseev. Big punching Brad Pitt stopped Ammann in 2011.

Light heavyweight Luke Bunder (1-0) outscored Robbie Harris (0-1) over four rounds by scores 39-37, 40-36, 40-36.

Super middleweight Wade Ryan (1-0) outpointed Simon Rendina (0-1) over four rounds by scores 40-35, 40-35, 40-35.
