Fernando Angulo (22-5, 14 KOs) will meet Yuri Romanov (21-2, 14 KOs) for the vacant IBF lightweight title August 1st at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. The bout will be on the undercard of the main event featuring WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (24-0, 11 KOs) and former IBF lightweight champion Nate Campbell (35-5-1, 25 KOs). Ironically Angulo and Romanov are fighting for the title Campbell was stripped of when he failed to make the weight limit for his title defense against Ali Funeka this past February.
