According to an inside source, the Antonio DeMarco (27-2-1, 20 KOs) vs. Daniel “Tremendo” Estrada (28-2-1, 21 KOs) WBC lightweight title fight scheduled for July 28th is off. According to the source, despite multiple opportunities, Gary Shaw, promoter of DeMarco, failed to sign off on the fight after allegedly agreeing to do so. DeMarco, upset after preparing for a month for the second defense of his title, has left the gym and has not returned. No word on how the cancellation affects his September scheduled defense versus John Molina. More news to come as it develops.
