Arce once again told the media that this is his last year in professional boxing, and hopes to make it one to remember.

“I have said before that this could be my last fight if I lose, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I feel very motivated fighting here in Mexico City and I plan on walking out of the ring as a world champion on Saturday night. I will then defend the title twice more before retiring at the end of the year,” said Arce.

“I want to have time for my family and friends and to finish other projects that I have, but this Saturday night I will give the fans a great night of boxing and will give it my all for them and for my family who have always supported me,” added Arce.

Angkota who made a long trip just to get here, is also very confident of the victory.

“I come to give the fans a great show and to take home the championship belt. It’s my time and Arce is on his way out,” said Angkota.

During the press conference the WBC gave Zanfer an award for the great promotions they had in 2009 through-out Mexico.

The weigh-in is schedule is for 2:00 p.m on Friday at the office of the Mexico Boxing Commission.
