Super bantamweight Francisco “Panchito” Arce (31-6-2, 22 KOs) scored a fourth round KO over former world champion Isidro “Chino” Garcia (26-8-2, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the Tecate Boxing Tour stop in Monterrey, NL, México. A left hook to the body finished Garcia at the 2:52 mark of the fourth. With the win, Arce claimed the vacant NABF belt.

“I went out to pressure Chino from the first round and it worked,” said an elated Arce afterward. “I did a lot of preparation and now I’m ready to go for a title at either super flyweight bantamweight or super bantamweight.”

In other action, super featherweight Jorge Lacierva (37-7-6, 26 KOs) needed just 46 seconds to demolish Edgar “Basuras” Riovalle (27-12-1, 18 KOs).

Also, lightweights Sergio “Tama” Torres (15-1-1, 14 KOs) and Ernesto Morales (18-7-2, 10 KOs) battled to an eight round majority draw in another notable fight.
