Former middleweight title challenger Elvin Ayala moved to 19-3-1 8 KOs with a workman like unanimous decision over Anthony Bartinelli (23-11-2, 13 KOs) on Friday night at the Plaza Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Scores were 80-72, 80-72 and 79-73. Also, cruiserweight contender B.J. Flores (22-0-1, 14 KOs) scored a third round stoppage of 261lb Matt Hicks (13-4, 12 KOs) in a heavyweight bout.
