Back to the future for Lavallee

After waiting for close to two years, super-featherweight Kevin Lavallee (10-0-1 8KO) finally has a chance to avenge the only blemish on his otherwise stellar record as faces off against Mexican Isaac Bejarano (9-12-1 7KO) in the final chapter of ‘Emergence’, the summer fight series held in east-end Montreal at the Grand Chapiteau. After winning his first three fights by first round knockout, Lavallee was forced to the scorecards against Bejarano where things didn’t quite go his way. “We’ve wanted this fight since the scorecards were read after the first one,” said Lavallee’s trainer Russ Anber who like many night that night thought the young fighter was good for at least three rounds.
