Badillo headlines in Tijuana!

The sale of tickets has begun for “Tijuana Es Fuerte” (Tijuana is Strong) which will be the first boxing event presented by Loyes Promotions on Saturday, August 1st at the Tijuana Municipal Auditorium. In the main event, the unbeaten Arturo “Fuerte ” Badillo (15-0 , 13 KOs) who will be part of the main event for the first time in his career will be taking on the nationally ranked Oswaldo “Chapo” Rodriguez (13-5, 8 KOs) in a scheduled ten round flyweight affair. Tickets are available at the Municipal Auditorium’s box office as well as Farmacias Roma, Tecate Six Mini Markets, Gasmart Gasoline stations and Carnitas Tepatitlan. Tickets start at 100 Pesos ($7.70), 200 Pesos ($15.50) and 300 Pesos ($23.00). The fight card will boast ten fights including flyweight Javier Gallo (10-1-1, 4 KOs), Jose “Cobra” Mendoza (8-1-1, 6 KOs), Alejando “Mantequitas” Rubio (7-0, 5 KOs) and the 2008 Prospect of the Year, Alain “Konan” Hernandez (14-7-2, 7 KOs). Also part of the fight card will be the pro debuts of junior flyweight Miguel Angel Garcia and featherweight Jesus “Chuy” Badillo.
