World ranked Marco Antonio “Veneno” Rubio and WBC former world champion Carlos “Tata” Baldomir will collide for the a fringe middleweight world title (WBF) on September 8 at the Estadio Miguel Aleman in Celaya, Guanajuato. “He no longer has the same speed and we have studied him very well, but he’s a veteran fighter who still wants to show who he is in boxing and we’re prepared to face him and come out with the victory,” said Rubio who is in the final stage of their preparation with trainer Jorge “Mapimi” Rodriguez. Also in action that night is middleweight prospect Marco “Dorado” Reyes againat Julio Cesar “Baby Face” Garcia, lightweight Abdiel “Mortero” Ramirez against Hugo Salas and female featherweight star Laura Serrano against Irma Garcia.
