The Pinoy Pride 17 Final Presser for Saturday’s clash for the vacant WBO bantamweight title between local favorite AJ Banal (28-1-1, 20 KOs) and Punglung Sor Singyu (42-1, 27 KOs) of Thailand was held today in the lobby of the Midas Hotel along Roxas Boulevard Manila. The fighters are all set and ready for war.

“I will knock him out in any round. I can also batter him for twelve rounds or even go fifteen rounds with him,” said the confident AJ “Bazooka” Banal when asked what the fans should expect in his battle with Sor Singyu.

In reply when asked how the fight will end up, the Thai warrior told the media “I will knock him out in the sixth round. I can knock him out earlier but the Thai Television network who will telecast my fight needs to earn from advertisers.”

Banal in response to the bold statement of this Thai opponent exclaimed, “It’s good he predicts a sixth round knockout. I am knocking him out in the fifth. If he says fourth, then I will dispose him in the third round.”

Co-featured fighters “Boom Boom” Bautista and Jason Pagara also expressed their confidence and assured the fight fans that they will both come out with sensational wins.

The fight will take place on Saturday, October 20, 6PM at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The fight will be shown the following day, 10:30 AM at ABS CBN.
