Argentinian WBA former featherweight world champion Jonathan Barros already in Puebla, Mexico with his trainer Ricardo Bracamonte and his assistant Juan Carlos Azcurra. On Saturday Barros fights for the IBF super featherweight world title against current champ Juan Carlos Salgado at the Miguel Hidalgo Gym in this city. “It will be a difficult bout. I’m fighting in a higher weight category than mine, but I hope to win the title. I learned a lot after having faced Celestino “Pelenchin” Caballero and I think those experiences have given me more confidence in my career. We’ve had a good preperation and whatever the result it’ll be a good fight….I want to be world champion. It’s a great challenge and I’m here for my family,” said Barros.
