Undefeated jr lightweight Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy (19-0, 12 KOs) scored a second round KO over Fahsai Sakkreerin (39-4-1, 21 KOs) in an IBF eliminator for the #1 ranking on Friday night at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A right to the midsection finished Sakkreerin at 1:26.
In a career best performance, middleweight Caleb “Golden” Truax (22-1-1, 13 KOs) scored a spectacular sixth round KO over Don “Da Bomb” George (24-4-2, 21 KOs). Truax dominated from the start and a right to the ear finished George.
The Minnesota State lightweight title remains vacant for now as Jeremy “Lights Out” McLaurin (10-5-1, 5 KOs) and Tony “2 Sharp” Lee (7-1-1, 3 KOs) fought to an 8 round majority draw in a bout that took place following the televised bouts. McLaurin let his hands go while being the busier fighter and Lee countered with the heavier punches. Scores read 77-75 for Lee and 76-76 on the other two cards.
