Unbeaten Belgian jr welterweight star Jean-Pierre “Junior” Bauwens (27-0-1, 15 KOs) hammered out an eight round unanimous decision over Ahmed El Hamwi (8-4-1, 1 KO) before a sold out crowd attending the annual Christmas boxing card Tuesday night at the Sporthal Izegem in Izegem, Belgium. The 24-year-old is expected to challenge for the European championship in 2013.
