Hussein Bayram (31-3, 17 KOs) won the super welterweight Grand Tournament with a six rounds stoppage over Damien Bertu (22-5-1, 7 KOs) on Thursday night at the Cirque d ‘Hiver in Paris, France. Bayram knocked down Bertu twice in the second round, then dominated the fight before again sending his rival to the floor at the sixth round, forcing referee Robin Dolpierre to stop the fight.
On the same card, middleweight Affif Belghecham (18-3-1, 3 KOs) keep the vacant title of the European Union with a TKO over Woulid Guarras (19-5, 13 KOs). Guarras did not come out for the eleventh round.
In another notable fight, French middleweight hope Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (19-0, 13 KOs) stopped Britt Michael Monaghan (18-25, 2 KO) in round seven.
