Russian light middleweight star Zaurbek Baysangurov (24-1, 18 KOs) on December 4th will fight against Colombian power puncher Richard Gutierrez (26-4-1, 16 KOs) for the vacant IBO light middleweight title at Ice Palace “Terminal” in Brovari, Ukraine. On Thursday in Kiev, Ukraine, a press conference took place with Zaurbek Baysangurov, general director K2 Promotions Ukraine Alexander Krassyuk, promoter and WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.
Zaurbek Baysangurov: “I’m prepared for this fight against Richard Gutierrez in Moscow, Russia and I will be ready 100%. I know that Gutierrez is very good and a dangerous puncher, but on December 4th I will show him what a realknockout!”
Alexander Krassyuk: “I’m is assured it will be a great fight and if Zaurbek wins, he’ll become the world champion in one of the most prestigious organizations in professional boxing – the International Boxing Organization. Wladimir Klitschko owns their heavyweight title.”
Vitali Klitschko: “This Colombian boxer’s ringname is La Lámina. After a meeting with Zaurbek he will reflect on a ringname change. After all, our boxer is preparing a “warm reception.” Zaurbek Baysangurov has sparred more than 120 rounds and is in a fighting mood. On December 4th there will be an excellent main event and an equally entertaining undercard”.
