Roberto Feliciano Bolonti (22-1, 13 KOs) of Argentina stopped countryman and former world title challenger Pablo Daniel Zamora Nievas (24-9-1, 15 KOs) by way of a third round stoppage on Saturday night at the Gimnasio Pedro Estremador, San Carlos de Bariloche, in Rio Negro, Argentina. Bolonti hurt Nieves multiple times in the first two rounds but the veteran Nieves was able to weather those storms and remain upright. In round three Bolinti caught Nieves with a picture perfect left hook the put him on the seat of his pants. Nieves beat the count but was on very unsteady legs and his corner threw in the towel ending the fight. Bolonti retained his WBC Latino light heavyweight title in what is his biggest win to date. The veteran Nieves had lost in his 2007 challenge of then world champion Anthony Mundine and lost in 2009 to current world champion Jean Pascal. Osvaldo Rivero Promoted.
