“Bombardero” Hernández passes

Mexican super flyweight national champion Marco Antonio “Bombardero” Hernández Uribe sadly passed away from lung cancer on Monday. Just 24, Marco Antonio also held the Cabofe and Fecarbox and was one of the most important prospects of the Boxeo de Gala promotiona firm. Trainer Julio “Cuervo” Gamboa said Hernández Uribe was “an example of professionalism, of dedication to his career, of love to the sport, a boy without vices, with a great nobility.”
