Louisiana promoter Les Bonano has announced the signing of Big Fred Kassi (13-1, 7 KOs) to a promotional agreement. Kassi, who is originally from Douala, Cameroon, is a six-foot 240-pounder whose only loss came by a split decision to experienced Lionel Butler in September. “I believe that Big Fred has the natural ability and is willing and eager to learn the things to become a champion,” said Bonano, who plans to develop Kassi into a draw in the South before challenging rated fighters in 2010.
