Former WBA super bantamweight champion Clarence ‘Bones’ Adams (43-6-4, 19 KOs) will make his 2009 debut against former world title challenger Alex ‘Ali’ Baba (26-15-1, 19 KOs) this Friday. Adams who turned professional at the age of 15 is entering his 20th year as a professional boxer. The bout will be a 10 round main event at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. The undercard will feature former world heavyweight title challenger Charles Shufford (20-8-1, 9 KOs) against an opponent to be announced, welterweight prospect Rashad Holloway (10-1, 5 KOs) vs veteran Harrison Cuello (18-10-2, 14 KOs), Vegas native Angel Flores (9-3, 3 KOs) vs Francisco Rios Gil (16-9, 11 KOs) , plus additonal bouts.
