Promoter and world champ Miguel Cotto, together with Héctor Soto, announced their famous Puerto Rican series, “Boxeo Boricua in Salinas” coming up this Saturday, September 25 at the Angel “Cholo” Espada Coliseum in Salinas today. The heavyweight contender, Victor Bisbal (17-1, 12 KOs) will fight Brock Stodden (18-16-1, 9 KOs) while junior lightweight sensation Marcos “El Tigre” Jiménez (16-2, 10 KOs) will make his come back fight against veteran warrior Robert Daluz (13-30-3, 9 KOs). Juan “El Puma” González (9-0,8 KOs), Abner “Pin” Cotto (8-0,4 KOs) and Jonathan “Pitbull” Vidal (11-0,7 KOs) will also be fighting.
“This will be a great show, we are excited to come back to Salinas. We have great fights for the fans,” said Miguel Cotto.
“We are very happy to have great fighters like Marcos Jiménez, Victor Bisbal, Jonathan Vidal, Abner Cotto and Juan González together on one show,” Héctor Soto said.
Soto also announced that the top Dominican contender will not be able to fight due to medical recommendations.
