Boxeo Telemundo Summer Series starts Friday

All Star Boxing, Inc and Tuto Zabala, Jr will begin their summer season of the popular series Boxeo Telemundo Ford this Friday, June 21 at the El Plaza Condesa in Mexico City, in the main event undefeated prospect Matt “Mighty” Villanueva (9-0-1, 8 KOs) of Burbank, California faces former world title challenger Julian “Chicano” Rivera (12-7-1, 2 KOs) of Barrio Tepito, Mexico City in a bout scheduled for 10 rounds with the vacant WBO Latin super flyweight title at stake.

On June 28 from the Kissimmee Civic Center, Kissimmee, Florida a clash between two former world champions, Joan “Little Tyson: Guzman (33-1-1, 20 KOs) of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic battles Vicente “El Loco” Mosquera (32-2-1, 17 KOs) of Panama City, Panama for the World Boxing Association interim jr. welterweight title scheduled for 12 rounds. July 5th from Salon Cuervo in Mexico City, Mexico is a highly anticipated civil war rematch when David “El Duro” Carmona (15-1-3, 8 KOs) faces Danny “El Venado” Flores (14-4, 8 KOs) for Carmona’s WBO Youth super flyweight title scheduled for 10 rounds.

And to close the season July 12 from A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida local favorite Charlie Serrano (15-3-1, 4 KOs) of Puerto Rico will face Aalan Martinez (14-2-1, 10 KOs) of Mexico in a twelve-rounder for the vacant WBO Latino featherweight title.
