Boxing back in Rochester!

Ron Resnick of Resnick Productions returns his “War at the Armory” series in Rochester, NY this Thursday night. Six bouts totaling 30 rounds will feature many of the up and coming boxers in the area. Buffalo’s rising star Guillermo Sanchez (7-0, 2 KOs) takes on tough Miguel Rodriguez (7-1, 3 KOs) of New York in a 6-round super featherweight match. Flashy jr. middleweight Willie Monroe (4-0, 1 KO) of Rochester will battle Torrence King (1-3) of Ohio. Always exciting woman’s champion Ella Nunez (9-4) and Tampa’s Adawirky Lopez (4-1) round out the 6-round bouts on the schedule. Young undefeated hopefuls Marcus Hall (2-0, 2 KOs) of Rochester and Nick Brinson (2-0, 1 KO) of Geneva, NY look to improve on their undefeated records in separate 4-round contests. Making his American debut will be Russian Ruslan Khayrtdinov (2-0, 1 KO) in a final 4-round tilt.
