Boxing back in Tampa

Fight Night Productions in association with Ker’s WingHouse Bar and Grille present “WingHouse Fight Night” a part of the locally acclaimed “WingHouse” boxing series in Tampa, Florida on October 15th at the A La Carte Event Pavilion. Featured at WingHouse Fight Night 4 will be numerous local fan favorites including a Florida State featherweight title fight between Charlie Serrano and Carlos Rivera, female boxing sensation “COWGIRL” Jenna Shiver, former amateur star Daniel Lozano, local favorite Ali Tareh and many others.

Tickets forWingHouse Fight Night starting at $25, can be purchased through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com). The A La Carte Event Pavilion is located at 4050 Dana Shores Drive . Doors on the evening of the event will open at 7pm, with the first bell at 8pm.

“Cowgirl” Jenna Shiver returns to Tampa on October 15th, 2010 in an six round bout. Shiver, 12-4-1 (2 KO’s), won the NABA Female Jr. Featherweight Title in her last fight on Augst 13, 2010 with an impressive showing against Brittany Cruz. Jenna looks to continue her quest towards a world title on October 15th.

The 20 year old Daniel Lozano (5-0, 4KO’s), is one of the fastest rising prospects in the Southern boxing circuit. Lozano competed in over 100 bouts in his storied amateur career which included a Silver Medal in the U.S. National Championships, a Silver Medal in the National Golden Gloves tournament, a Gold Medal in the Florida Golden Gloves, and a win over Roberto Ceron in the 2008 United States Olympic Trials. Lozano made his first appearance at the A La Carte Event Pavilion on August 13th and scored a spectacular knockout win over Gabriel Cruz.

The local favorite Ali Tareh, 9-7-4 (4KO’s), made his return to the ring in February with an impressive win over Darrell Jones at the A La Carte Event Pavilion as a featured bout on the first installment of “WINGHOUSE FIGHT NIGHT.” He then beat tough veteran Mike Mendez in a four round bout on August 13th. He is looking to make it three wins in a row and is scheduled in a six round bout.

Other boxers featured on “WingHouse Fight Night” will be Junior Middleweight Gino McClellan who trains at the storied 4th Street Boxing Gym in St. Petersburg, FL.
