The November 24 return of former two-time world champion Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton against former WBA welterweight titleholder Vyacheslav Senchenko will be televised by Showtime in the U.S. The telecast from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, will be in the afternoon at 5PM ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast).

The co-feature on Saturday’s Telefutura card will be unbeaten lightweight Julian Ramirez (4-0, 3 KOs) against fellow prospect Steven Gutierrez (4-1-1, 2 KOs) in a six-rounder. The main event is a jr lightweight showdown between Antonio Escalante and Rocky Juarez.

Services for Emanuel Steward are tentatively scheduled for November 13 at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.

There is talk of a possible third fight between former world champions Graciano Rocchigiani (48) and Dariusz Michalczewski (44) to take place in Berlin. Likely just talk.

Junior Middleweight Captain Boyd “Rainmaker” Melson, a West Point graduate and Army Reserve Officer, was featured in the latest issue of Sports Illustrated. The New York native donates all of his fight purses to, a 501(C)(3), to help support bringing trials to the United States to cure spinal cord injuries.

Saturday at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ four of the main fighters that will appear on a big night of boxing on November 10th at the Park will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. Undefeated fighters Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna, Anthony “Juice” Young, Derrick “Take It To The Bank” Webster and Isiah Seldon along with National Anthem singer Tatiana Barbosa will be on hand at the Park’s Annual Harvest Weekend. The fighters will be there between 12 and 2. LaManna will also be at the park on Sunday (weather permitting).
