The IBF says it can’t change the decision by the German Boxing Federation to change the result of the February Sam Soliman-Felix Sturm fight to a no contest after Soliman tested positive for a banned substance. The Soliman camp says the B sample was negative and is appealing. The IBF has not yet ruled if Soliman is still mandatory challenger to middleweight champion Daniel Geale.
