Jose Benavidez, the teenage phenom from Phoenix, will box on Top Rank’s Latin Fury 13/Pinoy Power 3 title card on Feb. 13 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Benavidez, 17, won a number of amateur championships including a National Golden Gloves title at 141 pounds, then decided to turn pro.  In his first professional bout two weeks ago he stopped Steven Cox in one round on a nationally-televised Top Rank Live! event on Fox Sports Network. He is training with Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, CA.
