While attending a fight card over the weekend in Mazatlan, Mexican ring legend Erik Morales said he would welcome a clash against either WBA super lightweight champion Amir Khan or IBF lightweight champion Miguel “Titere” Vazquez. He also wants a rematch with Marcos Maidana.

Thomas Pütz has been unanimously elected for the third time as president of the German Boxing Federation (BDB). Two previous elections were invalidated by court order. He will be in office until 2015.
