Bracero, Hamer victorious

Unbeaten welterweight Gabriel Bracero (12-0, 1 KO) outhustled Terry Buterbaugh (6-4-1, 3 KOs) over eight rounds to take a one-sided unanimous decision at BB Kings in New York City. Scores were 79-71, 79-72, 79-72.

Heavyweight Tor Hamer (12-1, 9 KOs) returned with a vengeance, destroying Terrel Nelson (8-11, 5 KOs). Nelson was down three times before the carnage ended at 2:11 of the first round.

Junior middleweight Denis Douglin (11-0, 7 KOs) looked good in stopping Orphius Waite (5-2-1, 3 KOs) at 2:10 of the first stanza.

Light heavyweight Isiah Thomas (8-0, 5 KOs) dropped Anthony Pietrantonio (6-7, 4 KOs) twice in round one and again in round six, but the bout went the full six rounds with Thomas up 60-51 on all cards.

Junior middleweight Steven Martinez moved to 6-0 with 6 KOs after a first round demolition of Cheyenne Ziegler (3-6-1, 2 KOs)
