Fightnews.com has been informed that Gary Shaw Productions has won a WBO purse bid today to promote the bout between WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley and interim titlist Lamont Peterson. Shaw bid $575,000 against Top Rank’s bid of $451,000 to secure the event during a proceeding at WBO headquarters in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The bout will take place on December 5th and likely land at the Agua Caliente Casino/Spa in Rancho Mirage, California. SHOWTIME will televise.
