Bradley taunts Campbell!

Undefeated WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley of Palm Springs, Calif., is ready for a home game when he makes a world title defense against former world lightweight champion Nate “The Galaxxy Warrior” Campbell on Saturday at The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino/Spa in nearby Rancho Mirage. Bradley set the tone for fight week on Monday by releasing a statement mocking Campbell’s family name. “I am going to give a SOUPerb performance against Campbell,” Bradley is quoted as saying. “Campbell is going to live up to his name when I knock him on his can. He should have stayed a lightweight because his career as a junior welterweight is going to be condensed to 12 rounds or less!” The document also referred to Campbell as ‘Nate “M’m! M’m GOOD!” Campbell.’
The fight will be broadcast live on SHOWTIME Championship Boxing, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast.)

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
