Light heavyweight contender Jürgen Brähmer (31-2, 25 KOs) and French champion Rachid Kanfouah (29-6, 23 KOs) faced off today at a press conference in Dresden, Germany, in advance of Saturday’s showdown for the vacant European championship. Brähmer, who is returning less than three months from a decision loss in a world title shot, stated, “My goal remains: I want to become the next German world champion.
